I was referred to CMS by a coworker who was very happy with their service. I like to review ratings online as well, but value word of mouth feedback a bit more. Looked at three quotes and the ones from Randy were the most thorough and the best value. Communication was simple and straightforward and they showed up precisely on the time they scheduled, which unfortunately seems to be pretty uncommon with any sort of contractor or service these days. Install was super quick and Evan took the time to thoroughly go over the system to get us acquainted. Overall just a straightforward and great experience.

CMS is the best. I have been with them since 2020 with multiple addresses and they always go above and beyond to help. Evan and his team are always professional and thorough with explaining how to use the system. If you are looking for security systems they are by far the first call to make!

Randy came out to our place to do an assessment at our request and a quote a couple of weeks ago and provided a lot of great options for us and a competitive quote. He was also available for our many questions and responded with the relevant info. He is very professional and clearly has a lot of experience. After we had decided on a package he arranged a day to come back to do the install and spent a lot of time making sure to explain how everything on the alarm system works in a clear way. Once again demonstrating that he has a lot of experience with what he does. We could tell that he had explained the alarm system more than a few times and knew it inside and out. We will likely add a few more features to our alarm over the next while and we are happy that we have CMS as our alarm provider. They are very flexible and also do not require a long term contract which is great, just month to month. Their features are also state of the art with all the bells and whistles if you choose them, but their basic alarm also has a lot of features we've never had before on our previous alarm system.

I’m a new customer with Canadian Monitoring Service and so far they are the best security company I’ve worked with. The technician, Randy, was professional, friendly, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. Their telephone support is also excellent, fast and helpful, unlike the long waits and poor service you often get from monopoly companies like Telus, Rogers, or others. I’ve dealt with many security companies in the past, and this one stands out above the rest. I really hope they continue this way, and I encourage people to support companies like this instead of the monopolies.

I got CMS to change my Telus alarm over to them and it was painless and a much better system. One of the batteries was dying on the door sensor and Evans came back the next day to change it for free.
